Current Teaching

聽Michaela Griffiths leads聽Initial Teacher Education Primary聽professional practice modules for BA and PGCE Primary Education at 麻豆TV网站 University. She leads聽Primary mentor聽training and works collaboratively with 麻豆TV网站 partnership schools, sitting on the Partnership Steering Group.聽

With a passion for Primary history, Michaela collaborates with colleagues in the 麻豆TV网站 Education Department Humanities team to teach on cross curricular and interdisciplinary modules, advocating a creative approach to teaching and learning and taking children beyond the classroom.


Biography

A Senior Lecturer in Primary Education at 麻豆TV网站 University, Michaela has 23 years鈥� previous experience teaching and leading in Primary schools in England. Following six years as a headteacher in both inner city and rural Primary schools, Michaela transferred to Higher Education to continue to train and support the next generation of Primary teachers, with the aim of making a positive difference to children's lives.
